K&B Specialty is the creative force of Kurt & Beth Klemm. Both have had a passion for food and cooking throughout their adult years. Kurt had been making chili since his teens, learning from his father and his love of chili . Beth is an avid reader and subscriber of cooking magazines. Well, one day Beth made a chili rubbed rib eye for Kurt and the rest is history. Kurt immediately recognized the ingredients and set off to fine tune it. The result is Sweet16, a formulation of brown sugar, chili powder and some fourteen other dry herbs and spices. And salt too. We list it last to remind you to adjust it yourself. Purists who marinade would comment about moisture being drawn out. Other's watch their sodium intake. And, why pay for salt?!
